Did I open the gate to the realm of demons?

this is what happened.

i had a sore tendon in my wrist.

i could work with it, but nevertheless the pain was there.

I also believe in Placebo & Nocebo effect. But that, too, is about energy. Who believes what? Even what your DOCTOR believes can affect YOUR healing. Thoughts are energy... I read a book on these effects. Some people 'need' injections to heal because the believe in the 'magic' of an injection. Some people 'need' surgery. They even did placebo-surgery on not life-threathening occasions such as knee-pain (make an incision and close the wound), and the patients got better, exactly like the people who got the 'real' surgery.

So everyone believes in something. And the magic of a healing hand or thought is not MORE magic than the magic of an injection, homeopathy or surgery.

I can feel pain of other people.

Took me quite some time (years, litterally) before I realised that a lot of things I feel are NOT my own pain.

I also 'knew' three times someone died (unexpectedly!) before I was told.

I can sense or 'know' that people are ill. A few years ago it happened that I could not think of anything else but cancer, and feeling a large dark cloud coming over us. Within three months my husbands brother had cancer and died. And the same feeling happened again, and now it was a friend of me who had cancer. (Only last week I saw the CO and I said to my husband: he is sick.... A few days later my husband told me: "You were right. The CO told me he has a weak health and will not get old." )

Sometimes I feel pain OUTSIDE my body. Like if the pains has gone, but it's still around me. That puzzles me!

So. I wish I could DO something...just feeling these things is so useless. I wish I could help people and ease their pain instead of just feeling it. I DO believe there are people who can do such things. And in my opinion this has nothing to do with demons.

Just energy. If there is a God that can create with energy, and act with energy, and heal with energy why can humans, small part of God's energy, NOT use their energy to heal?

And if there's no God, it's just energy. :-)

@ Island man: thats my kind of warfare! Right now I am planning on doing such things regarding the convention program, for example the music in the last video (from Audiomachine) ... i'm going to play it and show the album cover somehow... So husband will recognise it when he sees the video. Maybe will think: what, wordly music?!

Sadly it doesn't always work out. I remember that I knew ahead of him that pioneer hours would go down, and that bookstudy would end. So I talked about the 'possibillity' of such things and he said: 'They would NEVER do that! It will never happen!' And that he would be really shocked if it did.

Well...it did happen. But he always finds excuses for the Borg no matter what he said before. ☹️

@WTwizzard...exactly my experience... Always had a bad back, but since I know ttatt I developed nervous pain in my back/legs that is triggered by sitting... Just sitting in KH for an hour and I have so much pain! So I have to walk a lot, or be in the kitchen...

I know this is no coincidence. Whenever I quit going to these meetings, my back pain will be over, I am sure.

we need to examine the earliest known descriptions of the kind of crucifixion adopted by the romans and the specific terms they used to refer to it.

apparently the society believes that crux still meant "stake" in the second century a.d., when tacitus composed his annals.

One of the recent jdubvideo's showed a drawing of Jesus hanging on the stake. However, because of the large 'sign' on the stake, it looked just like a cross!

I remember that before that sign would be pictured much smaller.

I want to make an additional remark to my previous reply: It may be wise to tell your wife that you don't like her to work with brothers in fieldservice. Tell her that If she is going to do fieldservice, then working with sisters only.

I think a lot of us know the stories...brother x and sister y....working together in FS... getting to know eachother...What better opportunity there is to get to know eachother, you have to spend an hour or two and there's nothing else to talk about...I mean, really, who talks about bible verses in FS??

I know those stories in my own neighbourhood. So when I quit preaching years ago, I told my husband that I did NOT want him to go out in FS with other sisters. The fact that I no longer go out in FS does NOT mean he can work with other females, old, young whatever. He's still my husband.

It works well. Last month some brother who forgot about this (or didn't know, yet) wanted him to work with a sister and he said: "No, my wife doesn't want me to and I don't want to get in trouble."

Of course that is, if you want to save your marriage.

Whatever happens, make sure that YOU know that YOU as a parent are responsible for the well being of your child.
Not today or tomorrow, but do tell your wife that your child is not allowed to participate in demo's, will not be an unbaptised publisher, and cannot be baptized before she is legally an adult. Nobody except you and your wife is allowed to do any ~~cult instruction~~ Bible study with your child. Not even close family.

This! It worked for me (husband very into JW, 2 children, first one already escaped and lives a happy worldly life! The youngest will be 18 next month and is not even 'unbaptized publisher' and I don't allow elders or whoever to push or say something to her about that. It works!)

My nick on an apostate forum in my own country was Jael. Because we all know the story of Jael in the bible, right. There are some men in the Borg I would like hit on the head. 😜

We had a new medical directive last month. It surprised me, that there was only 'I refuse everything' box to be checked, while the previous one had a lot of choices: bloodcells, plasma, full blood, and so on. This one is called a 'simplified' one.

but in my eyes this one is back to the old days: no blood, and no blood fractions. No 'matter of conscience.'

I remember when I found out ttatt in 2004, I wanted to convince myself I was wrong, I mean, JWs were the only one that didn't go to war, and preached, and used the name of Jehovah...then I found websites that really shocked me...not only there are more religions or groups that do all of these things, but they also have magazines that look exactly like Awake and Watchtower.

It was really an eye-opener for me. JW ar NOT unique. The shunning, the no smoking, it's all there.

And when they are not, there is no logic in being chosen by god above all other religions. Or, if they are not unique, there is no PROOF of being chosen by god.
